Summer School

Posted by Lucinda Wootton on January 4, 2011 at 11:35 PM

BRING ON 2011!!!

Well everybody 2011 has arrived and Summer School is fast approaching!

This year we have some extremely high profile teachers at our summer school. Some of these include…

Fem Belling (Musical Theatre) - Fem has just begun performing in ‘The Boy from Oz’. She has also played roles such as Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray on the West End, Mabel in FAME and has been leads in Musicals such as West Side Story, Cats, Debbie Does Dallas and many more! She is also a jazz violinist and plays the electric fiddle.

Andrea Wigg (Jazz) – Andrea is an amazing dance teacher who has taught at many schools around Melbourne. Speaking from experience… Andrea’s Jazz class will be the best workout you’ve ever had!

Darren Tyler (Jazz/Song and Dance) – Darren is an extremely well respected dancer and choreographer and comes to us highly recommended by Dana Jolly who is unable to teach at summer school this year as she’ll be on her honeymoon!

The girls will also be learning Rods, Clubs and Flex – so don’t forget to bring your rods and clubs!

Because we have such high profile teachers this year we absolutely must know how many of you are coming. So… please contact us either via email (jeadencc@hotmail.com or lucindawootton@gmail.com) or text Lucinda on 0401835991.

Welcome to Jeaden Calisthenic College!

"Use the talent you possess; for the woods would be silent if no birds sang but the best"

Welcome to the Jeaden Calisthenic College website!

We are a club of about 120 pupils and their families who come from all around Melbourne (and even further) to form our team. We aim to perform as well as we can in our chosen sport, and at the same time, have a lot of fun, meet new people, and together simply enjoy the special attributes calisthenics has to offer.

One of the special features of any sport is the opportunity to make new friends. It is the people who participate in our team that make Jeaden a happy club and add so much to the shared good times. We are privileged to have so many wonderful families who have chosen to be a part of the Jeaden team.
